Seventh pay commission Declared

Notification on the formation of seventh pay commission has been confirmed and from 2016 January 1st the salaries might be increased three times for the central government employees. However there is no special pay commission for the army.

The central government employees can celebrate the news of new pay commission and an increase in their salaries as the central government has announced this boon to win over the employees keeping in view the forth coming elections in five states and the national polls going to be held next year. The commission guidelines in this aspect shall come into implementation from the 1st January 2016 benefiting almost 50 lakh employees (along with railway and security forces) and 30 lakh pensioners with a total of over 80 lakhs benefiting from these salary revisions.

New Delhi, September 25th: The best news to central government employees is that with the forth coming five state assemble elections and the coming general elections next year, the central government has announced the seventh pay commission (CPC) where the new guidelines shall be implemented from the 1st of January 2016. It almost takes two years time to make pay scale revisions and in this scenario the central finance minister Mr. Chidambaram has announced the formation of seventh CPC. With these 50 lakh employees (including railway and security personnel) 30 lakh pensioners shall also be benefited. After discussions with the concerned bodies very soon the pay commission director and members shall be appointed.
