TNPSC Eligibility conditions & Examination Process

TNPSC has invited applications on 17.05.2013 for recruitment to the following posts.

Junior Inspector of Co-operative Societies                        17
Store Keeper Grade II in Industries & Commerce               2
Store Keeper in Employment & Training                            18

Scale of pay: Rs.5200-20200

Eligibility Conditions:

Age as on 01.07.2013: Completed 18 years for all categories

Educational qualifications (as on 17.05.2013):

Junior Inspector of Co-op Societies: HSC/PUC/Diploma in Rural Services. For reserved category candidates and for Supervisors of Co-operative Societies, SSLC/Certificate of eligibility for College course issued by Board of Secondary Education.

Preference will be given to holders of a degree in Commerce (or) higher Diploma in Co-operative Management.

Store Keeper Grade – II & Store Keeper: Intermediate/PUC/HSC
Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

TNPSC Application Procedure

Log on to TNPSC’s website. Click “Apply Online”.
Select the post or service for which you wish to apply in the Application Form.
Don’t skip any field.
Upload the scanned image of photograph and signature.
Select Mode of Payment.

For online payment, an additional page of the TNPSC application form will be displayed – follow the instructions. After submitting payment information, wait for instructions. DO NOT PRESS Back or Refresh button. Registration Number and Password will be generated. Press “SUBMIT”.

For Offline payment, select the Post Office/Indian Bank branch.
Click on “SUBMIT”. Note down the Application Number and Password generated.
Take a print out of the Payment Chelan generated by the system and make the payment in the Post Office/Indian Bank branch within 2 working days. but before 12.06.2013. Collect the candidate’s copy of the Chelan from the Branch.

TNPSC Examination will be conducted on 03.08.2013 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Chennai, Coimbatore Madurai, Salem, Thanjavur, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunalveli, Vellore and Villupuram.

Examination fee for TNPSC recruitment: Rs.150/-

Two types of question papers will be set in TNPSC written test. One type contains questions on General Studies, Aptitude Test and General English, to be answered in English. The other type contains General Studies, Aptitude Test and General Tamil, to be answered in Tamil. Candidates will have the option to answer them either in English or in Tamil.

A candidate, who applies for more than one post in this TNPSC recruitment project, shall specify in the online application form, the order of preference to the posts.
