Indian Navy Selection Process:
The selection of Short Service Commission Officers in Indian Navy is conducted in 5 days. During the selection the candidate has to qualify Intelligence Test, Picture Perception Test and Group Discussion in State-1 and Psychological Test, Group Task Test and Interview in Stage 2. The candidates have to qualify stage-1 in order to attend for stage-2.

Indian Navy Short Service Commission an Overview
Indian Navy Short Service Commission is a 14 year service period as officers. After qualifying the SSC Officers Exam the candidates granted Short Service Commission for 10 years which further can be extended 4 more years depending upon the performance of the candidate.
The Short Service Commissioned officer initial posting will be Sub Lieutenant (SLt) in scale 15600 – 39100 with grade pay 5400 and Military Service Pay 6000. During his service period he may reach up to Commander Level with pay band Rs.37400 - 67000 with grade pay 8000 and military service pay 6000. In addition a short service commissioned officer in Indian Navy is entitled for gratuity and other benefits as per extent rules after completion of his tenure.
