Academic Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline can apply for these assistant jobs in State Bank of India.

Pay Band     : Rs. 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500- 800/1 - 19300
The newly appointed SBI assistants will be on probation for a Minimum period of 6 months.

Selection Process: State Bank of India has it’s own mechanism in selecting candidates for the posts of Assistants. It does not consider IBPS score as SBI conducts Written Test and Personal Interview separately. Those who could able to succeed in both of these tests will get job in SBI with a good pay package. Candidates should remember that placement in SBI is considered better than any job. So they have to prepare properly and should not take SBI written examination lightly.
